Support LSUHSC's Human Development Center

As Louisiana’s University Center of Excellence in Developmental Disabilities (UCEDD), the Human Development Center (HDC) serves as a resource to people with disabilities, families, service providers, educators, and policy-makers. From individuals to systems, HDC builds capacity and inspires change throughout the life cycle to ensure that people with disabilities are able to participate fully in all aspects of community life. We do this through four initiative areas:

  1. Early Childhood
  2. Education (Grades K-12)
  3. Transition, Employment, Careers
  4. Interdisciplinary Training

Funds raised will directly benefit our Louisiana community through HDC initiatives serving under-served populations. Your donations will offer opportunities like:

  • Scholarships for individuals with disabilities, their families, and professionals who support them to attend educational events
  • Community health information and resources for individuals with disabilities, their families, and professionals who support them
  • Financial support for families seeking inclusive childcare
