The LSUHSC School of Medicine Invites you to Support Camp Tiger
Your gift directly supports Camp Tiger, a week-long summer day camp for children who are physically, cognitively, or emotionally challenged. Since 1985, each freshman class of the LSU School of Medicine has hosted Camp Tiger, allowing children with special health needs to come together for a full week of camp experiences, including field trips, activities, crafts, and friendship - all completely free of charge.
This year, the Class of 2028 will host the 39th Annual Camp Tiger Gala on Friday, March 14, 2025, and we need your support in order to make it the best it can be!
Camp Tiger allows children with special health needs to come together for a full week of camp experiences, including field trips, activities, crafts, and friendship - all completely free of charge. We expect to host children from the greater New Orleans, Northshore, and Baton Rouge areas. As future healthcare professionals, our passion for the community and committment to improving the state of healthcare in Louisiana begins now. Camp Tiger gives medical students the unique opportunity to spend an entire week learning both the joys and challenges of working with a special needs population, while empowering and inspiring the children and families we serve.
We would like to invite you to consider making a donation to Camp Tiger. It is a fantastic opportunity to support our Campers! Camp Tiger is affiliated with the LSU Health Foundation, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. Any funds donated to the LSU Health Foundation for Camp Tiger will be use solely for the benefit of the Camp Tiger program.
