Teaching the next generation of healthcare providers and watching them grow into capable and compassionate physicians like you has been rewarding. Our faculty train physicians to become leaders in medicine of Nephrology and emphasize clinical training in the diagnosis and treatment of Renal diseases and Hypertension.

As you reflect on your time as an LSU Health New Orleans Department of Medicine Section of Nephrology Fellow, remember those teachers who helped shape you into the exceptional healthcare provider you are today; remember the classmates who turned into friends and stalwart champions; be reminded of the access to resources provided to ensure you were prepared.

These funds will be dedicated to the Nephrology Resident and Fellow educational experience and used at the discretion of the department chair in support of tools and opportunities as such:

• Educational materials;
• Supporting travel to educational conferences, seminars, trainings, etc.; and/or
• Sponsoring resident educational activities.

Your donation would also be tax deductible, to the extent allowed by law, as a contribution specifically earmarked for education.
