Members of the LSU Health School of Medicine Parents' Council enhance the daily student experience and encourage fellow parent and family philanthropy.
Members foster relationships among parents and families and support the school financially. They have a significant and immediate impact on the educational experiences of medical students and provide insight and share experiences with new parents and families. The Council works with LSU Health Foundation to raise critical funding in support of the medical students, particularly to enhance educational opportunities and daily student experience. As part of their mission to provide a strong and supportive environment for learners, the Council also offers emergency funding for School of Medicine students.
