Support the Colin D. Goodier Endowed Scholarship

Elbert "Bert" H. Goodier, III, MD died on Thursday, March 24, 2016. Dr. Goodier graduated from LSU Medical School in 1967 and went on to serve the New Orleans area as a physician for 43 years.

Dr. Goodier was named Top Doctor in New Orleans in 2001, served as Department Chairman of Urology at East Jefferson General Hospital, and was part of the MD Anderson cancer network.

He was an avid LSU fan, loved his grandchildren, his LSU Tigers, and traveling with family. He loved his family friends and patients and they too loved him dearly.

The family has asked that donations be made to the Dr. Colin Goodier Endowed Scholarship. The Dr. Colin Goodier Endowed Scholarship is an endowed scholarship that was established in memory of Dr. Colin David Goodier.  He was a bright, young physician who is remembered fondly.  At the time of his death, Colin was completing his third year as a resident in the LSU Surgery Residency Program and received a match into a Plastic Surgery Residency at LSU.
